Return to Survival Server
Early Recipes
These recipes are from newer versions of Minecraft that the server hasn't been updated to yet.
Lodestone
An iron ingot is required in order to craft a lodestone instead of a netherite ingot. This recipe change is from the Spring to Life update (1.21.5).

Lead
Lead's recipe has the slimeball replaced with string. This change came from the Chase the Skies update (1.21.6).

Saddle
Saddles were craftable in the Chase the Skies update (1.21.6). The recipe is 3 leather and 1 iron ingot. Note that this recipe is shapeless on our server.

Shaped Recipes
These recipes have to be in the same shape as shown.
Cobbled Deepslate
Cobbled deepslate can be crafted by putting four cobblestone in a square shape.

Phantom Membrane
Phantom membrane can be crafted from five string in an X shape, and four iron ingots in a diamond shape. Note that phantoms are disabled on SMP, making this recipe almost the only way to get phantom membrane.

Name Tag
Name tags can be crafted with six gold ingots on the top and bottom row (three per row), two paper, and one string.

Cobweb
Cobweb can be crafted with one iron ingot in the middle, surrounded by eight string. The end output give four cobwebs.

Blaze Rod
Two blaze powder create a blaze rod in a similar way that two bamboo create a stick.

Netherite Upgrade
A netherite upgrade smithing template can be crafted without it self. Simply put a diamond where the netherite upgrade would normally go. If you already have a netherite upgrade, It will save you a diamond to use the normal crafting recipe.

Mending Book
You can make a mending book. Just need four diamonds, four netherite scrap, AAAAAANNNND the book.

Bottle o' Enchanting
You can craft 12 Bottles o' Enchanting from one lapis block in the middle, four glass bottles around it, and four gold ingots in the corners. Note that villager trading is disabled.

Sticky Piston from Gold Ingot
A gold ingot can be used instead of a slime ball to craft a sticky piston. The old recipe still works too.

Totem of Undying
Totem of undying's crafting recipe is eight emeralds surrounding a golden apple.

Elytra
End citys no longer have elytras. To get one, it must be crafted from three phantom membrane on each of the left and right columns, a netherite ingot on top, a bottle o' dragons breath on bottom, and a star of the nether in the very center. Obtain all of it, and spread your wings.

Trident
Tridents can be crafted from some diamonds and stuff.

Mushroom Blocks
Both red and brown mushroom blocks can be crafted in a similar way to melon blocks. Mushroom stem can not be crafted yet.

Shapeless Recipes
These can be crafted by putting the ingredients in any placement.
Iron Ingot from Hopper
A hopper can be crafted back into five iron ingots. The chest from the hopper is lost, however.

Nether Quartz from Block of Quartz
Quartz blocks can be turned back into nether quartz.

Grass Block
Having trouble touching grass? Make some with three wheat seeds and a dirt. No need to worry about the order you put them in!

Mycelium
If you have mycelium, you can make more by crafting it with a red or brown mushroom. The mushroom essentially converts into a mycelium, which can be converted into dirt, which can act as a way to get infinite dirt.
